RSS Fusion was created in 2017, following a request from Liandri. Initially, in the form of a code snippet "self-hostable" in KISS mode, it offered a demonstration of a possible use case in the form of an interface with RSS feed merges and filters. Over time, the project took a back seat (then a third, then a fourth, then...). Liandri returned to the project in 2024 to request that the code be adapted to the latest versions of the technical ecosystem that RSS Fusion was based on. It was then decided to completely revamp the tool, starting from scratch. The SaaS model was then developed. However, deploying the tool for self-hosting remains an objective, respecting the original principles of the project. I promise, I'm working on it. Fifteen days after the release of the first SaaS version of RSS Fusion, a Docker version of RSS Fusion, specifically for Docker, was released: https://framagit.org/Erase/rss-fusion-docker/

Testers

RSS Fusion benefited from several testers before the project was opened up more widely. At different levels and with their various skills, they helped test, adjust, and add features to this tool. A huge thank you to them for taking the time to provide their feedback.

Proofreader

Between typos and spelling mistakes, the proofreading work of Steph was extremely helpful. However, her work cannot be 100% exhaustive; there were really corrections to be made everywhere!

English Version

It’s a bit of a mess, and not everything is polished on this side. But fortunately, several English-language contents have been handled with the expert knowledge of WorldTime. Thanks, mate!
